Cinco de Mayo: Shabbat with Shefa

Mexico comes to the Mediterranean tonight!

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that celebrates Mexico’s ultimate independence from Spain. The 5th day of May was a significant battle in the French-Mexican war, the Mexican troops were largely victorious over French troops, despite being outnumbered. In the US, it’s a holiday associated with Mexican food.

Join us at Shefa Melrose to celebrate this Cinco de Mayo Shabbat Dinner. This exclusive occasion blends Mexican and Israeli culture. We will be featuring traditional Mexican dishes and adding our Mediterranean twist, for the perfect fusion of the two. Don’t wait in line forever at a Mexican restaurant or tire yourself cooking in your kitchen. Celebrate Shabbat with us and enter into the weekend feeling refreshed and relaxed. Come kick back, rejoice and let us take care of the rest. You will leave tonight being fully satisfied and feeling festive.
